I wish it was 1/2 that size... but it looks to me like it will get the job done. I'm all about the simple.

I have a similar reel, the Martin 63 SS, that belonged to my dad. He probably never used it, since there isn't a scratch on it. I figure it would be great to use as a lightweight creek setup.
