Thanks for the offer Craig , I made plans with the wife to fishing locally getting her to go is huge so I'm taking that op.. I am buying a canon or nikon it depends on the best package I can get.I really only have about 800.00. That dosn't buy much.

The one good thing about my little point and shoot camera is that it's waterproof. My best days of fishing are almost always cloudy or raining. Can't wait.

Craig, I bought this bag a couple of weeks ago. I looked at the one Graham uses and just couldn't bring myself to spend that much. This one is very nice and seals well. I got it at Hooper Camera.

Hey Rich, Congrats, bring the bag! I like the bag I've been using, mostly because I can fit any SLR inside, with a flash mounted on top, but getting at and using camera controls is less than satisfactory, that's one reason why I started triggering the camera with a PocketWizard. Typically, I never set my camera to auto mode, but, the one in the bag is pretty much set to auto everything, including focus mode. In the cameras shooting menu I set the focus to automatically focus on whatever is closest to the lens, and luckily this has been working out for fish under water.

I can start preparing for the Sierra's now. I just finished a rush order for two realistic caterpillars for a Dr Pepper TV commercial. Next is a sizable order of realistic mosquitos for the US Army, luckily I have a few weeks to get those done. I'm ready for steamside action!!!!

I'll be bringing the bag for sure. I tested it on the East Fork with my son a couple of weeks ago and the nice thing is that the controls are accessible. I have the remote too just in case. Thanks for posting about where we'll be meeting. I was wondering about that today. See you all there.

I just looked up sunrise time in Bishop this Saturday, and it is 6:01, partly cloudy skies, which means a possibility for some awesome sunrise shots of the LO with mountains and clouds lit up in the background. I'd like to be onstream for sunrise... I will be driving a white Jeep grand cherokee with a white Yakima box on top, easy to spot. How about meeting at the campground at 5:30...
