Could it be Snow?

As of 5:43am, I'm looking at about 8-10" of snow on the deck in the Arrowhead area. Happy Earth Day.

We have 10 inches in RS and the road hasn't been plowed since earlier last night. Rim schools are closed at least so I don't have to go to work today and had the wife call in a sub so she doesn't have to circumnavigate that darn Highway 18 to get down the hill. That means I can wait to snowblow and I can enjoy this nice EarthDay (is it really Earth Day? I thought it was Global Warming Day

Were not plowed. I made it about 150 yards before the base of the climb out of our little bowl. Stuck.... Had to call work and tell them I might be a no show. Fortunately, my Sgt. is a good guy.

For any of you wondering, we ended up with a bit over 10 inches of new snow total from these storms. Looks like runoff will continue high for a few more weeks.
It was pretty coming down. Last evening, the flakes were about the size of quarters. Very pretty softly falling onto the tree limbs, and the snow cover makes for a very tranquil, quiet forest floor.
The fish are going to love this winter's production of water.

From where I live the mountains are a beautiful sight! Looks like an off weekend for me fishingwise, but hopefully all of this snow puts the snakes back into hiding!!!
