Graham,
I especially enjoyed all your flower pictures. It's amazing how much we miss at 80 mph while on our way to string up those rods, and we should all take the time to stop and smell the flowers. I know I'm guilty of the blast to cast syndrome.
"Should you cast your fly into a branch overhead or into a bush behind you, or miss a fish striking, or lose him,or slip into a hole up to your armpits-keep your temper; above all things don't swear, for he that swears will catch no fish."

Graham....those pics are AWESOME!!!! You even made Craig look good...JK Craig ;)

I guess I have never noticed how pretty it really is up there. The shot of the fish with the fly in it's mouth is way cool...I might have to hit you up for a print of that one!

Hey KC, I'm sure it will print nice, I'll make one and see... It really is pretty up there, all year, in the right places. I'm glad you like my photos, I'm still going through them, and I have some of you.

Beautiful photos Graham. I spoke with Sherry and I'm thinking of taking a class from you. I sure would like to improve my photos. I love the black and white photos. Did you set the camera to take them as B+W or did you photoshop them afterwards? The close ups of the fish are very nice. So clear!

wildfly, that's a Great idea!!! I'll work on some prints this afternoon!

Rich, I always shoot in color, and change to black and white in photoshop, because that allows for adjusting the contrast in each color channel, providing greater control of the process. I wish I could go with you on your trip this Saturday, but my schedule is busy with honeydo's. Bummer!

*! If I had only know I'd have been immortalized by Mr. Owens in Black and White... I would have popped in! Graham it was great seeing you. We should fish together someday. I miss seeing you. This forum doesn't know what they missed by not taking the class. I heard there was a photo-seminar that people paid $400.00 for. I'm sorry I missed this opportunity. Your great Graham!

Graham, my parents have a picture framing shop in Glendale. They usually work with galleries, but if you're interested, shoot me a PM.

Hey fflutterffly, thank you!!! you are so sweet, and it was great running into you last weekend, and yes, we need to go fishing!

FlyinFish, I will shoot you a PM today. I've been buying frames at Aaron Bro's in Glendale when they have the two for one specials. To be honest with you, I still have a stack of 6 frames bought a couple of months ago. I have been meaning to take down most of my large fiberglass fish mounts in my tying room, and replace them with photos. I just hate to box up the fish and put them in the back of my garage.

Last night I printed three of the close-up trout face, 12" x 18" and I'm thrilled how awesome they look, better than my old Kern Red Band close-up photo, I'm stoked!!!

Hey Justin, Thanks Bro!!!! I feel bad we don't fish more often, one every couple of years sucks... And, I'll take a dozen sponge bobs!!! They Rock!!! I'll come to the next tying session at your house.

I'm also stoked about licensing one of my underwater brownie shots this morning to a Swedish fly fishing magazine, it's one the big fall browns. I really haven't been trying to market my images, yet, instead working on building a solid portfolio, and I think I'm getting there.... I've sold a few here and there to folks that found me by Googling... I think I need more images with people in them, and look forward to getting them.... I really love the look of the gorgeous small wild fish and the places they live....

I started making a new web page with more photos from the trip, and I'll be adding a few more in the next day or so.
