anyone have any old Cabela's catalogs???

I'm looking for some information on a reel that they sold back in the 1990's.

Long story, but they are called the Winchester Traditional series of reels. I have a couple and needed money so I listed an extra one on eBay.

They buyer went on this huge rant about how this is some cheap chinese knockoff, that I ripped him off, etc. and wants his money back. No problem, but I don't appreciate being accused of ripping someone off.

I don't know what he was expecting, but I clearly stated the name of the reel and a description. I did not advertise it as something it's not.

Anyhoo, I know Cabela's sold them way back then and would love to see an old catalog listing them just for kicks.

thanks.

WOW! This person probably thinks he won some vintage collectible Winchester Fishing Tackle from the 20's...

Funny, I am taking my daughters to Winchester (UK) later this summer. They can be tourists and dad can fish. :D

p.s. Haven't found any catalogs yet, but will be going through boxes in the garage soon that are filled with old fly fishing magazines and catalogs.

yeah, I think that was his problem, and why he was mad about it.
If he had explained that he thought it was an old collectible reel and doesn't know much about reels, etc. I would've happily refunded his money, no problem.
Instead he sent me this message accusing me of trying to sell him a ripoff and instead I had to angrily refund his money, because I'm a nice guy.
