Support for Gulf Coast fishing guides

Postby buggravy » June 13th, 2010, 8:50 pm

As some of you who know me know, my little brother is a guide in Southeast Louisiana. Needless to say the few full time guides in that area have had their jobs, and indeed their lives thrown into great flux with the recent oil spill. Please take a sec to check out the site below, created as a source of info for the goings on in the area, and more importantly as a source of relief income for the guides through the sale of t-shirts. Thanks in advance for taking a look.

I have a good friend who was born and raised in the area. His redfish stories always fascinated me. The T-shirt is pretty cool, and is on my to get list.

It really is an incredible fishery, that gets amazingly little pressure. I was there over labor day weekend a few years back, and we never saw another boat once we were back in the marshes. Thanks for the support.
