She's here! (Updated with Name on Page3)

Postby rayfound » July 20th, 2010, 12:13 am

Born at 5:34 this afternoon following about 6 hours labor. 8lbs 1 oz and perfect in every way.

Mom and Baby are tired, but everyone is doing great.

No sure if this is normal, but it was basically boring for the first while after they started the induction, but she went from 6cm to crying baby in like under 15 minutes. Nurses were running around frantic afraid the doctor wasn't going to get there in time. I was freaking out (wife in agony, but also thrilled to be at the end)... what an emotional ride.
Fishing is the most wonderful thing I do in my life, barring some equally delightful unmentionables.

Beautiful baby, your wife and baby look great!! Healthy and happy!!
Congratulations to you and your family!!
We are so happy for you!!

Katie (my first) was half out before the Doc got there, I was in slow motion, and everybody was zippin around, sounds familiar.
Well done Ray!!

Woohoo congradulations!!!! 8.1lbs, she's a keeper :bananadance: :bananadance: :bananadance:. Glad to hear mama and baby are doing great. 6 hours of labor? Mama's a baby machine. Both ours were over 24 hours each. I'm still paying for that. Like its my fault  .

Congrats on your PB Baby! Nice Action!!
