New Thia place in town

Postby fflutterffly » July 31st, 2010, 6:18 am

There's a new place in Bishop you all might want to checkout. The Thia place at the airport is serving up good food and music during the weekend. We tried it, not bad. Owner is very nice and watching a few planes landing was new. But the music was the best the part of the evening. Stop by and give it a test run. They'll make your food spicy if that's how you like it.

Thanks Ariel for letting us know. We'll have to try it out the next time we head up there.

Checked this place out this weekend on our way to the Mammoth beer and blues festival.

For Bishop, I'd say it is worth a stop.
The owner is quite a character, very friendly and the food came out promptly.

The spring roll were actually a nice surprise with the addition of mint leaves.

The one thing I would add is that the portions are about 25 % smaller then what you would expect for Thai food here in LA.
If your hungry you might want to order extra. jon

PS In Mammoth a great beer bar with lots of craft taps is the Clock Tower across the street from Whiskey Creek.
