It can be dangerous out there

Well sure I have, on several occasions. It usually happens like this: some guy is out on the river fishing, ignoring his wife or gf who is left on shore to pout and get bored. She sees me passing by and stops me for some casual conversation. About the time we are slipping off into the bushes the bullets start flying. You know, sometimes it's a curse and not a blessing to be born handsome. Image Image

Anyone else here wondering what the women look like that Jon encounters?????

Back to the story, this really sucks. I pretty much completely avoid urban type areas due to this crap. Luckily I have the time and $$ to get far enough away when I do fish. Aye, why can't these hoodlums ever come in contact with someone that kill them???

Because those "someones" (that would no doubt love to kill them) are law-abiding citizens. No sense in creating a new felon in order to wipe another out.

Well Said.
Fishing is the most wonderful thing I do in my life, barring some equally delightful unmentionables.

True True, and those someones I guess never look like easy targets by the way they carry themselves.

I've said for years that the state should have free guns and ammo for the garbage that wants to shoot it out with each other. Give them a building, guns and bullets and the ones who come out are the winners. I have no problem with them killing each other in a controlled environment. They just have to give up the guns and ammo when they come out. The dead pieces of garbage can then be put in the dump where they belong. Harsh? Yes, but I call them as I see them.
