Me and some friends will be up about an hour past San Francisco in a couple weeks. One of my buddies and I would like to try some steelhead fishing. We are both avid small trout stream fly fishermen, but have never tried fishing for steelhead and thought we'd give it a shot (who doesn't want to catch monster sea run trout?
). Any one have any recommendations for drift boat guides in that area? Personally, I have no fishing experience up there..... that's why we want to do a guided trip, so any help would be appreciated. Most likely we will be checking out the Russian River (anyone with experience on this river?) since it is very close, but are willing to drive a little further if we have better chances.
