FWIW, my go to rod is a Winston BIIt 3wt and it is called a "medium" by Winston. Great rod.

The a-5 is a great rod. I also like the guideline rods. I can also recommend the VT2.

There is a few very nice 10 foot blanks that you would really like.

Would need to know what you will be useing the rod for. If you like I have 3 or 4 10 foot rods that you could try and let me know which one you like the beat.

They did some hardware upgrades this year, and they are on sale right now. The 5wt is on backorder, but it's a great deal, on a darn good rod.
