So I finally took some pics of what the river looks like in Bakersfield right now. I still can't believe the upper flows, and f.y.i. the Kern sight has some pics of the river @ 13,000cfs.
Here is Patriots Park, there is normally water all over this place but NEVER this high.

Haven't seen the river this high since they lowered Lake Isabella and before that was in 1999 I believe. Hopefully all the dead bodies, needles, and trash will wash away with this storm. Think of it as a river cleansing storm.
