Off subject- laptop

Postby fflutterffly » December 27th, 2010, 11:28 am

My father is 93, in great heath and brilliant. He and I have been writing a book together for years... just for the fun of it. 463 pages. Recently his 15 year old word processor died. Yes 15 year old! Does anyone have an inexpensive spare laptop with at least a 15.5" screen they would be willing to sell. He doesn't play video games or need hi-res. Just a good old laptop. If I could wish I'd make it a Mac so my 'stick' could be transfered when I go over there. We will purchase any make at this point. Thanks for reading

Ariel,

You can buy a new Windows laptop for ~$350. Various places have them at that price, Office Depot, Staples, Best Buy etc...

Here's one.

Thanks for the tip. Not to sound mean, but my dad says he won't be around much longer and just wants to spend less... No offense.

No problem. You don't make it 93 years with an idea of what you want. Good luck. Enjoy your dad.
