Have A Fishy 2011

Postby Benny » December 31st, 2010, 12:30 pm

Just wanted to wish everyone a healthy and safe Fishy New Year!

I would also like to thank all of you who frequented my Flickr page & my blog The SoCal Fly Fisher during 2010.

My Flickr page has 23,521 views which is pretty awesome!

The SoCal Fly Fisher had 1,191 views since I started the stat counter in June of this year, it's actually pretty cool to see that I have readers/viewers in some far off places around the world!

Here's to a awesome Fishy 2011!

Nice blog, Benny. I don't remember having checked it out before. Here's to a great year for you too! :D
How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.

Thanks guys, I'm seriously stoked that you guys like the blog.

I'm really not surprised you guys did not notice my signature, I tried to keep them as low profile as possible. So unless someone scrolls over the signatures that's pretty much the only way one would have noticed they are links.

Pete, I'll have to create a new section for custom rod builders ;)

Shane, I would have included your blog, but noticed you had not added any new content since you got back from New Zealand in 2009.

If anyone has any insights or thoughts as to how I could improve the blog, that would be awesome, I'm always looking to make improvements.

Thanks
Benny

Shane, I used to look forward to reading about your adventures, the fish you caught down in NZ were off the hook! I put Shane-Thoughts up on The Cool List ;) Looking forward to an update on you blog

Pete, I'll be adding the custom rod builder section in short order. If you happen to know of any other excellent rod builders who need a plug just send me the link.

Thanks Chris, it means a great deal to me that you enjoyed the blog.

Thank all you guys!

Curtis, you are always inspiring me with your photography, keep them coming.

Rob, we need to get out on the float tubes sometime soon.

Craig, you've done an awesome job with the forum, even with a busy schedule it's the best fly fishing forum going. Let's try and have a get together in March on your home waters of the Kern.

Bill, I still need to catch me one of those Leopard Sharks, we'll definitely share some water soon.

Bob, I'll try and keep the photography coming, I'll try and get some shots up soon.
