Thanks for the info Bill. I tried your link and it didn't work so I googles it and found this site with the schedule.

I'll try to buy tickets for the 3rd. I missed the last film and I don't want to miss this one.

Thank's for the heads up. I'm going to the Long Beach show on February 5. If anybody wants to carpool from OC or meet up let me know.

A couple of years ago they had a show here in Fresno/Clovis which was cool. The other locations are way too far to consider attending for me. Too bad.
How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.

Cool, I'll be at the LB show too. The Art Theater is walkable from my house.

I missed the one in Fresno. Hoping they would do Modesto this year, but it looks like they dropped it. :(

Not interested in driving all the way to Sacto (150 miles) to see it. Wonder what happened to the Santa Cruz and San Fran dates they used to do?

I forgot about this. Who's planning on going? I was going to go and if some of you folks are going I'm in. How about a SGEF trip in the morning?

There is also a big FFF fundraiser being held at the LBCC clubhouse called the "Fly Buy" before the show. It's basically an auction and yard sale where people donate flies and old used gear for the FFF to sell and auction along with fly tying demos, casting instruction, and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting. The "yard sale" part sometimes presents some great gear at killer prices. If this wasn't a once a year thing, I'd be all over the morning fishing trip to the SGR! Hope to see you at the show. We totally need a FFA T-shirt so we can spot each other at these things (or a "bat signal" would be cool too).

I'll be there, and prolly at the fly buy as well. Can't waiut. I hear this film festival is a hootin' n' Hollerin' good time. Looking forward to meeting some FFA names. I think I will wear one of my nets, so look for the goofball with a net strung on his back! Please come and say hi!
