it's going to rain again! For a minute there I was beginning to wander if it would rain again this season. We had a run of some pretty spectacular weather down here in SoCal. Hopefully we get a good dumping of snow in the locals.

Yea, I've been waiting for this to start happeneing again, otherwise that December flood only did good to replenish the ground basins. Hopefully March and April will bring some good cold storms

I believe leopard sharks like the rain because of the way they seem to hang out at out flows all the time. If SM is flowing, they'll be there and same with the other popular spots I find them at.

Remember that the out flows are always warmer water than the ocean and that attracts baitfish and other eatable sea life.

You have me to thank for the cold rainy weather. I knew it would be raining this weekend two weeks ago. A couple guys and myself had planned on backpacking up the special regs section this comming weekend. It was a done deal the moment we settled on a date.

as long as the Freshwater content doesn't get too high, the leopards do not mind Rain, but in Bays, towards the back where the streams or drains flow in, they boogie out of those areas if it the Freshwater content gets too high...

I have only once had a close encounter with these beasties and they were SO YUMMY. They are good for the table and although it's supposed to be a semi-secret thing, the local mountains have an abundance after rains....
