His surf creation, the Razzler, graces the pages of California Fly Fisherman magazine this month. He's in very good company, with notable names like Curcione, and Cronin.

We have another celebrity amongst us! :)

I've used razzlers down here in Carlsbad, did not know their provenance. Unfortunately, have yet to score on one. But that's not unusual in Carlsbad, it's been crappy for two years down here.

Congratulations Flyjunkie.

Dean is the creator of many flies you all have been using. He is one * of a designer and tier.

I'm not surprised. About time.

Thank You Very Much Everyone!!!!

It feels good to know that a Pattern i devised has proven soo effective for a great deal of Anglers, that's the best reward for One's efforts at the Tying bench.... Helping Other's have Good Times on the water.

Jeff Solis had informed me that the Razzler was one of the Patterns featured in the fore mentioned article...

I'm hard pressed to restock my own Surf Box with Razzlers, so it's not likely I'll tye up and give out Samples for everyone here... ;)

Very nice, Dean!!! Lots of fish have chomped that fly while I fished it, including corbina, perch, croakers, halibut, and sharks.
Set the hook!
