Okay, they were found on the forest service road. They had been walking for TWO DAYS! Where the * where they going? It's possible they are both terrific fishermen, but they are certainly not great outdoorsmen.

I can walk out from the furthest man made obstruction in that area in less then half a day and I'm old, short and carry way too much weight. I suspect that they just went ahead and kept fishing until what snacks they brought ran out.

Strange... I knew a Cody Wright in high school. That is most likely a very common name though. He was a deckhand for a tuna boat though, so he does fish...

Now I need to find out if he lives in Highland!

I bet if I really had to I could walk all 45 miles to my house in two days from that area, let alone to cell range, glad I pay my taxes to spend them on needless helicopter searches, what the forest service doesn't maintain the roads during and after storms? Your kidding!

Ya, I agree with most of you, we have done about 6 of the 8 miles on that stretch, two days sounds a bit fishy to me. :oops: sorry could not help myself.
