Good question and I look forward to downloading some of those podcasts for future trips!
I used to listen to a lot of books on tape, which you have probably done as well if you are looking for podcasts for a commute. However, for the last couple of years I have been downloading the weekly shows "This American Life" "A Prairie Home Companion" "Car Talk" and occasionally "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" from NPR. At one hour each you might want to consider adding some of them to your drive. It's impossible to be in a bad mood, no matter how bad the traffic jam, if you are listening to Car Talk. (I use the free software Miro to capture these podcasts. You can find a ton of other podcasts listed there, but alas, none on fly fishing).
