What rod did you break?
The one "bad" thing about the RS4 is the color.
Like I mentioned, I have 2 RS4s. Both sat for almost a year or more, before I started fishing them. I cast both, and thought I wouldn't like them( a bit softer than I usually fish). Once I took the 7wt out and fished it, it became my go to rod. It retired a Winston Vapor. I let someone use my 9wt for a day. I set it up and test cast it with a new line, and thought it was ok. Once I fished it, I rotated into service. Considering I paid around $125 for each, they are one of my better buys.

<edit> I received my rod back from Redington. Door to door was only a week turnaround time.
I was hoping they would repair my CPS, but knew that might not be possible(discontinued). They sent me a brand new CPX. Gonna miss that CPS, but I'm happy with the outcome.
