Great Times at the BBQ, Potluck, and Casting Games

Postby jazz on the fly » April 3rd, 2011, 8:16 pm

First off, I'd like to thank everyone involved in setting up this event. I had a great time and learned a lot of new skills thanks to the creativity of the casting course. It was great to meet a bunch of fellow addicts and enjoy everyones' company and food contributions. I brought my friend Pat (who will hopefully be popping up as a forum member soon)and his girlfriend Melissa and was glad to see everyone greet them with open arms. It was very cool to see Ariel take Melissa under her wing and get some pretty good casting out of her. I can't wait for next year and hope some more events happen in the near future. Now I'll just throw up a bunch of pics.

** Not all these pics are great, but I figured I'd throw them all up there

I think Pat will be back and I hope melissa sticks to the basics. More talent in our mist. It was great meeting everyone!

That looked like a great gathering, especially the food!

Luc I hate to say it but this was a "can't miss" event. Hope you can make it in the future (assuming the organizers have enough energy left to organize again).
