I've never treated my water, ever, and so far I've been fortunate not to get any little critters wiggling around in me. I sure would like to know where you were so that I know where to avoid in the future. Maybe it's time I break down and get me a filter???

i was on assignment one year up along tioga pass road and had to piggyback another story on the one i was working on at the last minute. met the reporter and a biologist/ranger at tioga pass and we hiked to the gaylor lakes for a demonstration regarding a study the biologist had been involved in. standing lake-side, he emptied his bottle and dunked it into the lake and then drank up, said he does it all of the time. now, there isn't much above the gaylor lakes to contaminate the source and being a national park, no grazing. still, i feel for you. i filter ALL of the time.

Fortunately, the meds seem to have done the trick. Looks like the only by product was losing weight. I'm thinking I'll be on the water this weekend.
