Float tube patch question

I have a Fish-Cat float tube and was looking at the patch kit that was included. In the kit there is tear-aid patch type B, a INTEX patch that is clear with a peel off backing, then a series of material. The material types are: Black rubberized which is the end of the tube cones, yellow nylon which is the seat material, green nylon which is the rest of the tube, and clear which is the bladder material. There is no tube of glue for the other materials, should there be?

I have a Fish Cat, and I don't think my kit had all those materials. Anyway, I've repaired the bladders a few times. I use the clear material and Aquaseal. I don't trust the adhesive that is on the clear patch material. I have also repair the cover on my pontoon boat. On that, I believe I used Aquaseal and patch material too. I have never had a failure in any of the repairs.

Aquaseal = good stuff.

The only thing that came with my Fish Cat was the materiel also.

In my past experiences, patching is only temporary. If you have the time and $$ just buy a new bladder. On that note when in the field I find that, that UV knot sealant works wonders!!! Haven't tried aquaseal.

I've patched a couple of small holes in my Outcast Trinity float-tube. This float tube is a lightweight backpackable tube that doesn't have inner bladders. I identified the location of the holes by looking for water bubbles made by the escaping air and then, after drying the area around the hole, put a nickle to quarter-sized drop of Loon UV Knot Sense or AquaSeal (I've used each) over the hole. The UV Knot Sense dries very fast (just set it out in the sun for a few moments). I had to wait overnight for the AquaSeal to harden up. Neither hole has leaked since these quick and easy repairs.

Just like to add. I've used UV Knot Sense and UV Wader Patch to repair waders, and float tubes. Also repaired a plastic swimming pool with it. I used both for coating knots. It's great that it sets up so fast, but over the long haul, both have peeled. For whatever reason, they do not seem to stick as well as Aquaseal. I have tested both, and it makes ok repairs. Other times I ended up peeling all of it off because it didn't stick well.

Aquaseal makes a UV cure product now too. I have not tried it, but I have read that it also does not stick as well as the long cure product. They even mention in the ad, regular Aquaseal is stronger than their UV product. In my experience, if you have the time, use Aquaseal. If not, the UV stuff will get you by.

An old(5-6 years?) 4 and 7" slice repaired with Aquaseal. It's seen some heavy use, but so far no peeling at all.
