Need Fly Fishing Info Hampton Virginia Area

My son is now in Hampton Virginia. Anyone have suggestions or locations to fly fish fresh or saltwater. Thanks

Keith,

I used to live there but unfortunately I did not fish then. There are a few reservoirs and I believe most if not all the moving water is salt (you redefine your notion of a river when you cross the 5 mile wide James River). Of course there is also the Chesapeake Bay. A side trip to Northern or Southwestern Va would get you into some trout streams.

Upon returning for a recent high school reunion I came across the following (turns out I was unable to spend any time fishing). :
