Thanks for the info, my pop just bought me a Tenka rod, and I still have yet to give it a try.

Thanks. I saw that you've used a Tenkara rod on Hot Creek. Do you think it can be just as effective on this water as a traditional set-up, or do you do it more for a change of pace? Do you stick to dries only, or do you ever put a dropper on? I tried it for the first time, yesterday, on a small meadow creek. I didn't entice a strike, but I only saw about six fish in roughly 200 yard of water.

I thought maybe you meant wet-fly traditional fishing. I've been thinking that tenk might be an excellent way to go for that formate.
