Isn't that the truth. How much lighter do they want to make their rods anyway? I recieved an Orvis helios switch rod (a freebie for me) and to tell you the truth, I don't care for it. It's too damm light. I need some heft to my rods I guess so they feel right to me. (Except my winston 2 weight lol) I guess that's why there are so many rods and rod manufactures out there.

Brilliant marketing! Every time anyone says the word, "one", it will subliminally make them want to buy this rod. Now I want One.

The One? Wasn't that from the Matrix? For that much 444, it better be The One

How about bringing that Other One back, the LL 389 reissue please!

I guess if it were really "The One," it would cast like an XP and fish like an LL/SP/SLT, right? And if that's what they made...I'm in. But I'm not holding my breath.

They did that. Not sure how well it was received back then, but I doubt it will happen again.
