So, here's the deal.... Post a photo that best represents the beauty of flyfishing as you see it. It could be a fish, a landscape, a shot of your child's 1st fish. Whatever you feel captures the essence of the sport. If you want to add a small narrative, that's fine too!
The only rules are
1-You can only enter one shot, 2-It has to be either a picture you took, or you have to be a subject in it.So, what's up for grabs? I'm offering a color rolled woodcut print titled "In the Net" to the winner. The print is a 5X7, carved from Shina plywood and inked using Akua soy based intaglio printing ink. It's printed on 120# Stonehenge watercolor paper, matted to 2X archival gallery mat and will fit into any 11x14 frame.
The contest will end on Oct. 1st at 9:00pm PST with a winner announced on Oct. 2nd by 5:00pm PST. I'll cover shipping and handling. The judge will be my very artistic wife. I'll leave her alone to enjoy the photo's and anxiously await her selection.
Here's a couple of shots of the print. Good luck!
