"I've spent some time stream side with Curtis and he loves the sport because it puts in him beautiful places. I've heard him say "Even if I don't catch a fish all day, this scenery is worth it..." But, I also see how he lights up when a trout hits his fly and his rod bends. The reality of it is if you were not catching fish, it would be called hiking. He loves the outdoors like few I've known, but I also know he loves being able to see a fish or two to hand.
The image I chose captures the wonderful beauty, as well as the excitement of having the fish on. I love the colors (I lean towards a warm palette) and the composition that makes me feel like I'm in the moment. Thank you for letting me view your photo's; they were all wonderful glimpses into your passion!
