Started my rod blog

Postby Pete » December 2nd, 2011, 8:12 pm

Well, I finally got up the gumption to start up the blog that came with my web site. Granted, it won't be near as good as some of your blogs, but I'll give it a go for a while and see how things turn out. Main plan is to write on about whatever rod building topics that drift into my head. Probably post my thoughts on rod building, new builds, trinkets off the lathe and there maybe a few adventures thrown it the mix.

Stop by once in a while to see if I've added to it. I have big shoulders and can take any constructive criticism. ;) http://www.renaissanceflyrods.com

Thanks,

Pete

I enjoyed it! All artists look at their work and see imperfection. I know I can't hardly look at some of my woodcuts because I see what I could have done to make them better.

Good job Pete
I agree with you about getting a rod perfect, which I never can do. I'm to the point now I just call it "character" instead of poor workmanship. Didn't see any of that in your rods.

Thanks for the replies everybody. ldr, thanks for noticing. He found a typo on the home page, of my site, that has been there since I started up the site. And...... I had several people proof read it before I published it . Its been fixed and I no longer go by Pet  .
