Surprisingly, I haven't been out fishing this month, but this Cormorant has, and he is out parading his catch. Too bad he could not get it down...too big for his tiny throat, so he did what we do...Catch and Release.

That doesn't look like any Californian sunfish, more like a Cichlid. I don't want to hot spot but where was that taken? PM if you don't want to give away the location to the world.

Changing my official submission to this one. I liked the combination of the glare of the bright sun on the water and the lens with the ice in the foreground and the green of the vegetation in the background. I'm calling it Winter Fishing in California. :D
