You are either committed to catch and release or your not. :rockon:
In California you would probably get ticketed for exceeding the bag limit. The Center For Biological Diversity and 4 other well meaning but misguided groups would demand that the deer be taken back out, dumped in the bay, and left to their own devices.
The boat would be impounded for a year awaiting trial.
Somone will claim that it all happened because of global warming. Two groups would argue for years over whether the global warming was caused by methane gas released by the deer or carbon from the boat. ;)
