Thankfully, Mother Nature has decided to put some snow on the ground. I'm at about 5900' and had 8-10" of snow on the deck when I left to work. My wife said we picked up another couple of inches before it stopped.
Even though it'll put the bite down with flows and low temps, it sure will help the locals in the long run. If you are coming up, dress warm.

it snowed so bad wed night in the upper desert that i couldnt get into the palmdale area thursday morning
to get to a training i had at nasa Dryden/Edwards AFB... had to rechedule due to snow.... go figure
