I snatched a Sage 590-4, 9' 5wt off ebay for $300 even.

my brother got the same rod off ebay in Jan for $300
those guys were nuts.. a 389 comes on every month or two and one just went unsold on feb 7th for $450
so i dont know what the H these guys were on a bidding frenzy for....

How many pieces was the unsold one? I think that factors in to price often with these.
