Winston fly rod

Has anyone here had to send a rod in for repair. I am curious as to the the time it took to get your rod back. I hit the top section with a split shot this morning and had tosend it in. They didn't want phone calls so I didn't ask them. Thanks BobK

It's been a while, so their turnaround may have changed. One rod I sent took about 2 weeks total time. Another rod I had took about a month, but I had them do a lot of work to it.

Odd about no phone calls. When i've called them, they were very nice and helpful. Times(& owners)change I guess.

I gave mine to Marriotts and it came back in about a month if I recall. It just needed a replacement for a ferrule but I guess depending on the time of year that's how long it takes,

I think it took them about 2 week’s turnaround time for my repair. I would think that Winston’s repair time would be quicker now than latter in the season.

Thanks guys for the replies. I went back out at about 2pm and the Caddis were everywhere. Got some real nice fish for about an hour and a half. Bobk
