Nice one Bob! That'll keep you addicted for a while...
Fish always lose by being "got in and dressed." It is best to weigh them while they are in the water. The only really large one I ever caught got away with my leader when I first struck him. He weighed ten pounds. —Charles Dudley Warner

What a "career" accomplishment. A well earned fish to say the least. Congrats.

I'm a firm believer in paying your dues and it sounds like you earned those memories well. Good for you.

Awesome looking fish guys way to go! I hope to achieve that same goal someday. How long did it take you to get that thing into the net?

I was very lucky on that fish. I'm glad it was stupid and always decided to run upstream when it decided to go. :bananadance:
We were about 100 feet below a major fast water section (hooked it in the tailout of the pool), and it would always bolt upstream right up into the fast current and then stop. I would then pull it back downstream to about 20 feet from the boat and it would repeat the same act five times. It never got me in my backing since my flyline was 105 feet long! I was on it for about 10 minutes and my arm was cramping pretty good by the time it hit the net. About 15 minutes later I landed a 16 pounder and quit for the rest of the day because my arm was shot!
