Friend showed this to me at work the other day - pretty cool.. Especially like how you can zoom & it adds data ... Now - if we could get a modeled winds for the entire coast at a 1km (or less) resolution that would be sweet! Trying to forecast coastal winds off the existing models is pretty much an exercise in futility....

I like it. Pretty neat. Fishing San Luis Reservoir was always an issue for us, as we never really knew the the strength of the wind on any given morning, until we showed up with our boat. Usually, not good.
