It's highly Curly Claro Walnut, Mahogany, and Wenge. The lanyard hole has a hand-hammered aluminum ferrule to match the aluminum Monogram the client wanted. I have been building my nets a bit thicker in the hoop area for serveral months now. I have heard too many horror stories from clients needing a net because they fell or sat on theirs. The Latigo leather magnetic release is working out great. I wish I had thought of that earlier on. I am using a 3/4" cup magnet with some serious pull. It's attached with a solid copper rivet and a solid brass chicago *.
