Spent it sitting on the beach with my youngest son and his family. I can't think of a better way to spend the day. Happy Fathers Day to all my fellow Dads and fly fishers.

If anyone who is not a dad would like to try it out and have some real life experience, I would be happy to loan you my two teenagers for, oh, let's say a couple of years?

Happy father's day to you too, Craig, and the rest of you dads out there. :D

Happy Father's Day. I'm getting ready to fire up the grill for yummy Ribeye's. A family BBQ is a sweet way to celebrate the day.

Spent the day with my Mother whom I havent seen since 2004 and my son that I get to see every summer.... I cooked on the BBQ. We had some great BBQ and now I am hoping that Josh will do the dishes... Neat thing is, is that if he doesnt do the dishes, I am his boss at the machine shop on Monday :) So far he is going to have a lot of cleaning to do

Because I forgot the keys to the gun case, Jeffrey and I went up to BBL :bananadance: instead of to the range. I'm glad I forgot them, as the temp hit 100+ where we were going to be shooting. 6 Bass later, 3# to 5", we both had smiles on our face and wind/sunburned necks. It was nice and cool up there, but the wind made fly casting more of a chore than I cared for so I joined Jeff in using conventional for all but the smallest of the 6. We both missed quite a few as the wind made keeping in contact with a plastic worm nearly impossible.
I fish for my sanity. If I catch it, should I still practice catch and release?
