Quick Last Opportunity

Postby highflyer » July 13th, 2012, 3:00 pm

This may be your last chance to tell us about your best honey holes. No longer can you sit back and think "I'll tell those guys about this place when they prove they really care" THERE"S NO MORE TIME! We are all going to be obliterated, irrelevant, and generally oblique! Who cares if we don't care.

If you still feel queezy about sharing all your best secret holes on this forum, you still have time to PM me. But do it now.

I'll record them all for posterity and possibly write a short article for BASS MASHER magazine.

Thanks. I hope you all feel the same sence of urgency that I do.

Alan

Does this have to do with the Mayan calendar? If so, the Santa Ana River at the 60 Freeway is truly the finest spot in the world.

I hear the steal will be running in Coldwater Canyon once Tree People remove the dam holding back Franklin Canyon water.

How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.

Quick Last Opportunity

Postby Rasputinj » July 14th, 2012, 10:55 am

I feel like sharing today so here are a few of my hot spots. Trousdale, that place has trout stacked up there. A creek/river called the arroyo in the town I live in very scenic, reminds me of smaller version of the LA river. That place is loaded with something. 3rd place is a small creek in the town I live in that feeds into Rancho park pond. The fish there are in the riffles and tail outs. I don't want to give coordinates to the locations as most people looking for hot spots will not know what to do with the numbers. Remember these areas are for harvest only no C&R. Harvesting helps keep the over population down. Bait on!
