Need Info for Hamptom Virginia

I'll be in Hampton Virginia for 5 days the end of the month. Does anyone have any suggestions for a day of fly flinging in fresh or salt? Thanks

Bring your golf clubs?! When I lived in that area I golfed more than fished. I did chuck some bait from a pier attached to a tunnel entry that was like 27 miles long or something... also caught some trout in the mountains just northwest of Charlottesville [3 hrs. away (and 20 years ago?)]. I'd probably try and hit the surf. There's got to be some good action with out great expense.

You should look into the Striper fishing there in the salt. I am not sure if its prime season but Hampton is near Chesapeak Bay, great Striper fishing with Bluefish & Spanish Markerel.
