Just curious how many of you are attending the upcoming SW Council of the FFF Fly Fishing Fair. http://www.regonline.com/builder/site/tab2.aspx?EventID=1054129

Some pertinient info might be:

Will you be an attendee or volunteer
Seminars or classes you are attending or hosting
Where you are staying
Arrival/departure time
Are you fly fishing? Where & When?
How many 7lb trout your are going to catch....Just seeing if you're awake!

I'll start it off by saying that I am going up early in the week, maybe on Monday the 10th. I'll be staying at and will fish E. Walker, San Joaquin, and probably Saddlebag lake before the fair. I will be camping in Mammoth and exhibiting my nets like I did in Pasadena. I am going to try and get the the Hot Creek Shocking deal if I can. I think I will leave on Monday.

Greg I'll be heading up Friday and camping with Jim and Mark. I was lucky enough to snag a spot on the hot creek gig. Really looking forward to it.

Eric: After you come back from the shocking at hot creek could you explain how they do it and what their conclusions are. I've heard that they speculate there are 11,000 fish per mile. I don't believe it and not just because I haven't caught them all but I can't believe there are more fish in little hot creek than the green river below flaming gorge among other places. I will be curious to see their results. Thanks Luc

I've read that the people over on the Green count adult fish only, maybe 10" or bigger. Whereas in California and some other places, they count all fish. Regardless, most fish counts can be misleading.
