Yep.... Had multiple variations of this conversation when I was looking to purchase my Sage One 4 piece 3wt with carefully selected and aligned carbon fibers and space age resin, plus Fuji ceramic stripping guides and high modulus, low profile ferrules with maple inserts to a anodized bronze reel seat, and the cool flat black case with the oversized Sage logo.

1st time I cast it, I grew hair on my head, tanned immediately, and began dating April Vokey. She dumped me because I had no $$ to spend on her. Now, I'm reduced to tossing a 1wt with a large arbor reel with a guy who fishes in the nude whilst wearing a rainbow clown wig. Best $1000 bucks I ever spent.
