Hey everyone,

It's nice to see a forum dedicated to Cali fly fishing, and the the Sierra in particular. I was born in California but I acquired my love for fishing while growing up in Minnesota where I fished the lakes and rivers out there for primarily Bass and Pike. Then, when my folks moved to Western North Carolina in the early 2000's I picked up my first fly rod and have been addicted ever since. I moved back to Cali in 2009 and I'm currently attending college pursuing a degree in Ecology and Evolution. I spend most of my time fishing the streams and lakes around Hwys 108, 4 and 88. I look forward to contributing to this forum.

Hi Joe, Yep, you found the right place! Looking VERY forward to some of your posts! Love to see new areas where I have not fished (Though I have fished the Merced which I think is near you).

Welcome! :bananadance:

Welcome to the site, Joe. Throw up some reports and enjoy! My neighbor just moved off of Hwy 88. Beautiful area.
