That's a big butt bear.... :o I hope they didn't destroy the bear for that small little bite  Would you happen to know the outcome to this cool pictorial? Most importantly did the bear survive ;)

This looks real familiar. If this was several years, and I do mean several, I think he had to shoot the bear just to get away. I remember watching a thing on Animal Planet years ago where the Game Management guy had this happen and he was explaining that he had to empty his .357 into the bear in order to stop it. As soon as I saw the pics I was reminded of that program.

Like Benny, I am curious to know the outcome.
How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.

I don't know the outcome of the event. I received this in an e-mail and it just said it happened in Wyoming.

Notice the guy in the passengers seat stayed inside the truck :o :o

I see that the guy getting attacked was wearing a sidearm. If the guy in the truck had one and didn't bother to get out and help I think we would have had problems if it were me getting chewed on. Actually I think I'd been pretty po'd even if he didn't have a gun and stayed in the truck.
