How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.

Too cute!! BTW, I'm glade that daddy told her to be careful when handling the fish. One stick from a dorsal fin could've ruin that little girl's day.

Agreed,
What is also cool is also how he did not interfere. I am not a parent but having watched a LOT of parents in action while guiding families. It is fascinating to see where the line gets drawn between protective instincts and a "let the kid learn their lesson" ethic. I think the fact daddy let the girl take the chance is huge.
