Discontinued Simms Waders

Postby Baughb » October 16th, 2012, 11:35 am

Just found a good deal (sic) and the G4 Pro waders because Simms is discontinuing them.

Anyone know why? Not that I'll send them back, my old waders need replacing badly.

<<<Anyone know why?>>>
Because Simms discontinues products on a every few years cycle to force retailers (like flyshops) to buy "new" waders from them!!!! :gun:
That way they can keep Simms sales up, instead of flat lining!!! :booty:

Truthfully, buying any discontinued fly fishing gear during the fall new product release binge is a great deal for the fly flinger that needs quality gear at a much better price than usual. There's nothing wrong with the stuff, it's great quality gear! :bananadance:

I get the sales process, I was hoping to not hear that they were crap and had problems. This'll be my fourth set over the years and I'm very happy with Simms. And now I'll have a spare set too!
