Bob and I did some swapping earlier this season- tuna for venison. Last night I grilled up some of the steaks and topped them with sauteed mushrooms and red onions in a Cab reduction. Served it on roasted potatoes sprinkled with some sage we collected in the Owens Valley last time up. Thanks Bob! Very nice cuts.

Are you kidding? The Mushrooms are what makes it almost perfect!
Notice I said almost, as in too bad it's not on my plate. That would make it perfect.
I fish for my sanity. If I catch it, should I still practice catch and release?
