That's the first time I have heard you say you would fish a dry! Spring creeks are amazing fisheries. Here's another place to consider :)

I have pictures of Jon fishing dries on the Big Reedy....cast for cast with Richard Cullip on rising fish with tiny, tiny flies. He was impressive.

Real men fish streamers.

What an amazing place. I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight after seeing those monster trout and their aerial displays. Thanks for sharing.

I remember that trip. It was fun seeing Jon tossing tiny dry flies. He's good at it.

Thanks for the compliments Guys, I do dry fly fish every once in a blue moon but it is not something I would do every time I go fishing.

Will look at the video when I get home.

Jon, you know you wouldn't last long throwing a dry there. You'd be thinking "If I can get this quality on dries, what would a Double Bunny/Circus Peanut/Articulated Nasty/Meat Whistle/....do?"

BTW, what is you favorite big streamer?
I fish for my sanity. If I catch it, should I still practice catch and release?

What the heck is a crick?

It's a pain in your neck. As in, "I've got a crick in my neck today." :D
How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.

Nahh, that's just too easy. What you really need is a snake fly pattern for that water...

Too bad about those pesky gnats there, but some nice looking undercut banks on that crik.
