We need some sellers and bidders for the Holiday Auction posted at the top of the General Discussion Forum. Funds will go to site maintenance as well as towards supporting various causes and charities. Individually, our members have funded welcoming home a Marine, purchasing DVD players for a chemo center, and sending fly tying materials to soldiers in Afghanistan. Not to mention support for Casting for the Cure & Wounded Warrior Project. We'd like to have the ability to do that as an FFA community as well.

Please help if you can and donate or bid on some good deals.

Just my personal opinion on the auction:

When the forum was going to close its doors, there was a huge response about keeping the forum. Questions were ask about "Where do I send my donation?" to "Should there be a membership fee?". Part of keeping the forum is the money it takes to keep it running. Time to step up and put up. No reason for a few to support so many, this isn't welfare. Plus we have a great shot at some cool auction items.

Thanks to those who stepped in to keep this forum running when Craig needed to step down. And thanks to Craig for starting up this great forum. We have been reaping the benefits of others, now it's time to give back.
