I enjoyed the video and it helps with my learning curve. I used to fish streams like that in northern WI that emptied into Lake Superior. Unlike his basic thinking tho, I'd a 6'3wt. midge rod and a 7' 4wt. Guess I always liked the shorter rods better. I can see the advantages of a longer rod in keeping line off water and drifting nymphs but I still like the small rod small water concept.
